A European mount, also known as western skull mounts or a wildlife mount, are quickly becoming a favorite taxidermy technique for the people who want to display their trophy wildlife skull in an economical and professional setting.
 
Our methods include using Dermestid beetles to clean the skull, environmentally safe peroxide and sunlight to produce a brilliant white skull and most importantly we take pride and care in crafting a skull mount you will be proud to display in your home or office.  Processing European mounts or a wildlife skull mount using Dermestid beetles has several advantages versus boiling, another common technique in making a European mount.  Bugging the skull, as we like to call it, leaves the skull superior in whiteness and the skull stays in tact, where boiling the fats and pigments out tend to stain the skull and loosen many of the smaller bones.
